AT CU

As a fast-growing copywriting and brand strategy agency, we're in search of a Graphic Designer & Creative Director to support the continued growth of the company and work alongside founder and lead copywriter, Kaitlyn Parker, and our Director of Operations. This role is sure to be creative, collaborative, and rewarding. 

We typically work with clients within the following industries: business & marketing, wedding, coaching & education, wellness, e- commerce, hospitality & leisure, food & wine, lifestyle. To get a better feel for our work and clientele, visit the CU Portfolio.

This role will predominantly cover internal graphic design services for Copy Uncorked & CU Edu. There will also be some work that extends to client projects & deliverables, on an as needed basis.

Graphic Designer & Creative Director

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

• Bachelor's Degree + additional graphic design-specific training
• 2+ years direct design experience, including brand identity work, social media graphics, project deliverables, educational materials, email design, creative direction, photoshoot planning, and more 
•  Familiarity with the digital/creative entrepreneurship landscape &/or working in an agency environment
• Passionate about the relationship between copywriting & design (as we like to say #copyxdesign) and driven to create the best possible outcome for each client
• Collaborative, growth-oriented, and always striving for excellence 
•  Team player with excellent communication skills
•  Comfortable working within: Adobe, Canva, Showit, Slack, Zoom, Clickup, Google Workspace, Flodesk, Planoly

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in tandem with and under the direction of CU Founder & Lead Copywriter, Kaitlyn Parker
• Generate on-brand marketing graphics from a set Brand Style Guide & initial brief 
• Be responsible for upholding and innovating within the brand standards 
• Revise & design client brand messaging style guides (in line with and based on a CU template)
• Participate on planning/review/revision calls as needed to determine & finalize designs
• Design additional Showit website pages (often from a template) for various CU digital products & offerings
• Assist with CU Edu course materials and launch content
• Share in ideation and development of CU copy assets for course launches, monthly newsletters, etc. 
• Weigh in a provide initial inspiration for CU brand shoots and quarterly creative direction
• Partake in team meetings and share regular feedback and input for growth, development, and enhanced client servicing
