As a fast-growing copywriting and brand strategy agency, we're in search of a Team Copywriter to support the continued growth of the company and work alongside founder and lead copywriter, Kaitlyn Parker, our Director of Operations, and our Senior Team Copywriter. This role is sure to be creative, collaborative, and rewarding.

We typically write for clients within the following industries: business & marketing, wedding, coaching & education, wellness, e-commerce, hospitality & leisure, food & wine, lifestyle.

Team Copywriter

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

• Bachelor's Degree + additional copywriting-specific training
• 1+ years direct brand/conversion copywriting experience, (ideally brand messaging, website copywriting & launch copywriting - i.e. funnel mapping, email sequences, and long-form sales pages)
•  Familiarity with the digital/creative entrepreneurship landscape &/or working in an agency environment
• Passionate about the relationship between copywriting & design (as we like to say #copyxdesign) and driven to create the best possible outcome for each client
• Collaborative, growth-oriented, always striving for excellence, & displays the highest-level of integrity 
•  Excellent communication and sales skills with the ability to participate in client strategy + revision calls
•  Comfortable working within: Google Workspace, Slack, Clickup, Zoom

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in tandem with and under the direction of CU Founder & Senior Team Copywriter
• Participate on client strategy/kick off calls to obtain detailed client briefs 
• Complete initial research & discovery, including voice of customer data, industry landscape, voice/tone, etc.
• Draft comprehensive brand messaging style guides (in line with and based on a CU template)
• Attend client review calls, followed by completing revisions
• Draft additional client deliverables (ranging from website copy to email sequences to sales pages)
• Complete all final revisions and assist with off-boarding
• Partake in team meetings and share regular feedback and input for growth, development, and enhanced client servicing
